Using SparkAR I created a instagram filter in addition to my photoshop creations, where you have to guess which logo you are seeing.

Instagram filter
Using the camera in your phone, I was able to place the eyes and mouth over a ‘realistified logo’. The user had to guess which looking they are looking at.
I thought it would be nice to make it more interactive for the user instead of just holding the camera in front of your face and instead turn it into a game. That’s why I made a quiz in the filter where you have to guess which logo you see in front of you. This makes the AR filter a bit more complex because I added several features to it, such as:
- Press & hold to start
- Tap to continue
- Countdown of 5 sec
- After countdown reveal answer
- Multiple layers of text and images

Visual design
I tried to design the filter into a ‘instagram worthy’ look and feel. I’ve created the assets in Illustrator, while keeping everything simple and clean.
